Description
This era of the Epiphone Olympic model has been referred to by some as the “poor man’s Junior” but make no mistake, this guitar certainly has its own vibe.
This example is in overall great condition and sounds fantastic! It displays general / honest player wear and weather checking over most of the guitar. Functions perfectly from truss rod to harness, pots are original and date the 2nd and 3rd week of 1961. The sunburst is gradual and warm, unlike some other examples, and the mahogany & Brazilian board both display great grain and character. Frets are in great shape, have plenty of life left with no notable damage to mention. Just a great guitar!
Weighs in at a super light 5 lbs 10 oz and comes complete with its chipboard case. Please email or call with any questions.
