Description
From the Fender Custom Shop, and designed in collaboration with Clapton himself, the EC Tremolux features 12 watts of hand-wired tube power through a single twelve inch speaker. The EC Tremolux is based on Fender’s first generation Tremolux from the mid ’50s, which is pretty much the same as the legendary 5E3 Tweed Deluxe, but with tremolo.
The EC Tremolux is beautifully built—pretty much on par with what you’d expect from a boutique builder. The pine cabinet is perfectly built, and the lacquered Tweed covering is flawless at the seams. The chassis is equally detailed, and a true work of art—again, rivaling what you might expect to see coming from a low volume boutique shop.
No pedals needed with this baby, either. Just crank her up and hear the growl. Power attenuate cuts wattage in half to get tones at lower volume. Great little bedroom or small club amp.
