Our Take:
The American Original ’60s Telecaster is a faithful recreation of the guitar that started it all, taking cues from its later iterations. It features a Rosewood fingerboard (introduced in 1960), and a double-bound body and 3-ply pickguard which came standard on the Telecaster Customs. Other notable features include Pure Vintage ’64 pickups and a slightly flatter 9.5″ radius neck providing authentic tones with a more modern playing feel. This axe is a no-nonsense workhorse guitar that can fit any playing style!

In 1960, we offered rosewood as the standard fingerboard wood and launched the Telecaster Custom, an elegant model with a double-bound body and 3-ply pickguard.
