Don’t ever call Fender uncreative! Deciding to pair up a Jazzmaster-style body with a Tele neck and hardware is certainly unconventional, but this unlikely pairing is actually quite harmonious – especially with the inclusion of an all-mahogany body, which ends up giving a beautiful warmth to the Soapbar and Vintage-Style Single-Coil Tele® pickups.
Fender’s Take:
The Offset Telecaster originally debuted in the Fender Custom Shop and has since become a fan favorite. The combination of a Jazzmaster® body with Telecaster neck and hardware is a match made in heaven for many players. This new Japanese-made Offset Tele® features an all-mahogany body, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, vintage-style Tele bridge pickup and a soapbar rhythm pickup.
