It is a set-neck, semi-solid Telecaster style body with hand-picked, meticulously chosen woods. Tausch guitars give new meaning to hand-made. He makes about two guitars a month. The attention to detail is extraordinary. He uses Harry Haussel pickups that sound amazing. It has a strat style tremelo with a Pau Ferro wooden block instead of the metal traditionally used. The resonance is unreal. The semi-acoustic body made of Pearwood gives the 665 a truly unbelievable loud and “alive” acoustic response.
