Description

Only produced for four years, the Gibson Explorer II / E2 was designed to serve as a modern upgrade to the original Gibson Explorer. Some key differences in this model were a five-piece maple or maple/walnut body that was contoured and had beveled edges.

This example has seen its fair share of gigs, and we can understand why…it rips! With pots dating back to the 34th week of 1979, and the original pair of Dirty Fingers humbucking pickups, you’re getting all of the original character and high output from this axe. It does show player wear over the majority of the instrument, and there is a small crack on the back of the headstock, but it does not extend through to the front.

Weighs in at 9 lbs 5 oz and comes complete with original hardshell case. Please email or call with any questions.
