2014 Martin D35 Brazilian 50th Anniversary Prototype Acoustic Guitar – Natural

Description

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Martin’s D-35, the company introduced the D-35 Brazilian 50th Anniversary Limited Edition guitar. This run of guitars, limited to 100 pieces, were constructed with solid Madagascar rosewood sides and back wings, a Brazilian rosewood back center wedge and veneer, an FCS certified European spruce top with 1/4″ high performance non-scalloped X bracing, and ivoroid bindings. Each D-35 Brazilian 50th Anniversary example’s label was signed by C. F. Martin IV, and was number in sequence. 

This very special example is number 2 of 2 prototypes constructed by the Martin factory to introduce the run and is numbered as such on the interior label. This guitar has never been owned or circulated. It comes straight from the Martin factory private reserves locker! As one could surely imagine, a company like Martin would certainly put their best foot forward when introducing such an amazing run of guitars. This instrument is proof of that! The selection, quality and color of the woods used to construct this fine guitar coupled with the playability, tone and projection make this instrument a must have for any guitar collector or Martin enthusiast.This instrument does not include a Martin factory warranty. Please email or call with any questions.
